 (*) ALES score is required only for candidates who are Turkish citizens applying to PhD and Master's programs with Thesis.   Turkish candidates can also submit their GRE (min.: 139) result documents, if any, instead of ALES. For foreign candidates there is no obligation to provide documentation (GRE, etc.).

Application Dates: 14 December 2021 - 14 January 2022.

  1. A) Student admission conditions for the Business Administration (English) Doctorate Program:
  • It is necessary to have a bachelor's degree and a master's degree with thesis. (The original and notarized copy of the undergraduate and graduate diploma or graduation documents and transcripts from the candidates at the application or at the latest registration stage, and the original and notarized copy of the undergraduate and graduate diploma or graduation documents and transcripts for foreign students and candidates who completed their higher education abroad, certified translations, recognition or equivalence documents from the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) will be requested.
  • For candidates who have not graduated from the relevant departments of the Faculties of Business, Economics, Finance, Banking and Economics and Administrative Sciences, a Scientific preparation program can be applied by the Head of the Department.
  • The language of instruction of the program is English. Candidates showing that they have knowledge of English (YDS, YÖKDİL 60, TOEFL-IBT: 72 or equivalent points from international language exams recognized by YÖK) are required to submit the document obtained within the last 5 years as of the application date.
  • As of the application date, a document showing that a minimum of 55 points (equally-weighted) taken from the academic personnel and postgraduate education entrance exam (ALES),   or a minimum of 139 points in the GRE New Scoring Type (Equal) score type has been obtained in the last 5 (five) years will be requested. Any documentation (ALES, GRE, GMAT etc) will not be requested from foreign applicants.
  • The department may require a "Science Exam" (written or oral) for the doctoral program Candidates will be accepted to the doctoral program if they are successful in the Science and Interview Examination and if they meet the other conditions. In the calculation of the success grade of the candidates applying to the program; The overall grade point average of the master's degree is 20%, the ALES score is 50%, the score obtained from the foreign language exam is 10%, and the interview result is given 20% weight. For other matters not mentioned above, the provisions and conditions in the Turkish Aeronautical Association University Graduate Education and Training Regulations are applied.
  1. B) Student admission conditions for the Business Administration (English) Master's Program with Thesis:
  • In order to apply to the program, it is necessary to have at least a Bachelor's degree.   • For candidates who have not graduated from the relevant departments of the Faculties of Business, Economics, Finance, Banking and Economics and Administrative Sciences, a Scientific preparation program can be applied by the Head of the Department.

  • For other matters not mentioned above, the provisions and conditions in the Turkish Aeronautical Association University Graduate Education and Training Regulations are applied.
  1. C) Student admission conditions for Aviation Management (Turkish - English) With Thesis – Without Thesis MA Programs:
  • In order to apply to the program, it is necessary to have at least a Bachelor's degree. (The original and notarized copy of the undergraduate and graduate diploma or graduation documents and transcripts from the candidates at the application or at the latest registration stage, and the original and notarized copy of the undergraduate and graduate diploma or graduation documents and transcripts for foreign students and candidates who completed their higher education abroad, certified Translations, recognition or equivalence documents from YÖK will be requested.
  • Scientific preparation program can be applied by the Head of the Department for candidates who have not graduated from the relevant departments of Aviation Management, Aircraft Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Pilotage, Air Transport, Aircraft Maintenance and Repair, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Economics and Administrative Sciences.
  • As of the application date, a document showing that a minimum of 55 points (equally-weighted) taken from the academic personnel and postgraduate education entrance exam (ALES),   or a minimum of 139 points in the GRE New Scoring Type (Equal) score type has been obtained in the last 5 (five) years will be requested. For foreign applicants who apply for this program, any documentation (ALES, GRE, GMAT etc) won't be requested.
  • ALES, GRE, GMAT etc. will not be requested from foreign applicants who apply to programs with and without thesis, and from Turkish citizens who apply to the Non-Thesis Master's program.
  • Candidates showing that they have knowledge of English (YDS, YÖKDİL 60, TOEFL-IBT: 72 or equivalent points from international language exams recognized by YÖK) are required to submit the document obtained within the last 5 years as of the application date.
  • Foreign students who apply to programs that language of instruction is Turkish are required to submit a document showing that they have knowledge of Turkish to follow the program to the relevant institute directorate.
  • If the candidates to the Master's program with Thesis are successful in the Interview Exam and meet the other conditions, their application will be evaluated by giving 10% weight to undergraduate grade point average, 20% to ALES score, 40% to foreign language exam score, 30% to interview result. In the Non-Thesis Master's program in English, the undergraduate graduation grade is 10%, the foreign language grade is 50% and the interview exam result is 40%. In the Turkish Non-Thesis Master's program, 30% will be given to the undergraduate graduation grade and 70% will be evaluated based on the interview exam result.
  • For other matters not mentioned above, the provisions and conditions in the Turkish Aeronautical Association University Graduate Education and Training Regulations are applied.

 (***) Graduates from associate, undergraduate or graduate programs of universities abroad Citizens of the Republic of TurkeyOriginal or copy of the document confirming the equivalence of the diploma by YÖK or the original of the document showing that the equivalence application has been made to YÖK or a certified copy must be submitted.   The original certificate of equivalence must be submitted by the end of the first semester.   If the equivalence certificate is not submitted by the end of the first semester, the student is dismissed from the University.

 (****)Foreign national candidates who graduated from associate degree, undergraduate or graduate programs of universities abroadOriginal “School Recognition Certificate” from YÖK or the document stating that they have applied to YÖK for School Recognition Certificate must be submitted.   The original certificate of recognition must be submitted by the end of the first semester.   If the certificate of recognition is not submitted by the end of the first semester, the student is dismissed from the University.
